These Terms govern your use of DexFolio ("the app"), operated by Jin Kwon. By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
DexFolio helps you photograph, identify, catalog, and value Pokémon Trading Card Game cards. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, GAME FREAK, or Creatures Inc. Card names, set data, and images are the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification and cataloging.
You must be 13 or older to create an account or use online features. If you are under 13 you may use only the local, offline features.
You are responsible for the photos and information you add. You retain ownership of your collection data. You grant us a limited license to process your card photos solely to identify the card and provide the service (photos are not retained — see the Privacy Policy). Don't upload anything unlawful or infringing, and don't upload photos containing other people's personal information.
Card values shown in the app are estimates derived from third-party market data (currently market-reference aggregates, clearly labeled). They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, are not appraisals, and are not financial, investment, or purchasing advice. Do not rely on them for buying, selling, insurance, or tax decisions. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a displayed value. Third-party price/data providers are credited in the app; use of their data is subject to their terms.
Don't: abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits of the service (including the card-scanning service); use it to infringe intellectual property; or attempt to access other users' data. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse. Scanning is subject to fair-use limits that we may adjust.
You may delete your account anytime in Settings → Account → Delete account; this permanently deletes your account and collection. Deleting your app account does not cancel any Apple subscription (there is none today; if introduced, manage it in the App Store).
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts located there, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
